The Wild Things inspired by the classic Maurice Sendak book Where The Wild Things Are, adapted by David Auren and developed further by the cast was the perfect show to follow George’s Marvellous Medicine, and we jumped at the chance of collaborating once more with Dumbstruck! Productions. 26 performances in 13 days and just over 2000 people through the doors…. Amazing!!
Sailed off through night and day
We had a fantastic team on board. David Litchfield created new Wild Things along with the images for the backdrops. The beautiful poster design was also down to David. The very talented Mat Baker then took the Wild Thing designs and turned them into actual character costume, expertly put together by Donna Swann. Then of course our brilliant cast brought them to life aided by the superb music composed by Sophie Viney. The final touches were made by lights and sound, again wonderfully designed for us by Phil and Tim respectively, and 95% of this talented team are Bedfordshire based…. how lucky are we?!?
